*Marymount University is accredited by SACS-COC, ACOTE does not accredit transitional or post-professional OTD programs.

Requirements

 

If you attained your OT degree from a ACOTE accredited institute:

  • MOT, MSOT, or master’s in related health field
  • Official transcript(s) for all degrees
  • Copy of US Occupational Therapy license

If you attained your OT degree from a non-ACOTE(or foreign) institute:

  • MOT, MSOT, or master’s in related health field with a BOT or BSOT
  • Official transcript(s) for all degrees
  • Copy of US Occupational Therapy license
  • Academic equivalency documentation demonstrating US Masters in OT equivalency from World Education Services (WES) or another member institution of National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES)
  • English proficiency results taken in the last 2 years: Non-US licensed applicants must submit at least the qualifying scores below to be admitted into the ppOTD curriculum.
    • TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language): 580 or better (paper-based test), 237 or better (computer-based test) or 92 or better (internet-based test)
    • IELTS (International English Language Testing System): 6.5 or better
    • MELAB (Michigan English Language Assessment Battery: 82 or better
    • Duolingo English Test: 120 or better
