- MS to DPT24-30 CREDIT, 6-7 SEMESTER PROGRAM*
- A portfolio review is available and can waive up to 6 credits.
*The MS program is a 30-credit program, however, a portfolio review is available and can waive up to 6 credits.
Marymount University is institutionally accredited by SACSCOC, CAPTE does not accredit transitional or post-professional DPT programs.

Requirements
In order to apply for the tDPT program at Marymount University, you must reside in Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia (DC), Florida, Georgia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, or Virginia. If you do not reside in one of these states, please visit https://rehabessentials.
If you attained your MPT or MSPT from a CAPTE accredited institute:
- Official transcript(s) directly from the university, college, or recognized credentialing body
- Copy of US Physical Therapy license
If you attained your MPT or MSPT from a non-CAPTE (or foreign) institute:
- Official transcript(s) directly from the university, college, or recognized credentialing body
- Copy of US Physical Therapy license
- Academic equivalency documentation that states your degree is equivalent to a US Masters in PT from Institute of Foreign Credential Services (select General Analysis) (Or another member of National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES)))
