Jody S Frost, PT, DPT, PhD, FAPTA, FNAP currently serves as President of the National Academies of Practice (NAP) representing members from 14 health professions who are dedicated to affordable, accessible, and coordinated healthcare for all. Dr Frost is an Education Consultant & Facilitator with expertise in educational assessment, competency-based education, professionalism and interprofessional professionalism, interprofessional education, strategic planning, clinical education and leadership training programs. After 25 years with the American Physical Therapy Association, Dr Frost retired as the Lead Academic Affairs Specialist, founding Program Director of the Education Leadership Institute Fellowship, and developer of the APTA Clinical Instructor Credentialing Programs and PT and PTA Clinical Performance Instrument. She has been awarded Liaison International Leadership’s Award, APTA’s Education Section President’s Award and Pauline Cerasoli Lectureship, elected as a distinguished scholar and fellow of the National Academies of Practice, and in 2018 named a Catherine Worthingham Fellow of the APTA, the highest honor bestowed to a member.
